Always download the template file in the import wizard first. That way your column headers are guaranteed to be recognised. Dutch headers such as artikelnummer, kleur and maat are recognised automatically.
NEXERA recognises existing products by the combination of brand plus product number, and variants by their SKU. Choose in the wizard what should happen with existing products: skip, merge (only fills empty fields, the safest choice) or overwrite.
Make sure rows that belong to the same product share the same brand plus product number combination, or use a grouping column such as Handle. The wizard usually suggests the right variant strategy itself; accept that suggestion.
An EAN (GTIN-13) consists of exactly 13 digits. Watch out for Excel: it sometimes turns long numbers into notation like 8.71834E+12. Set the column to text format in Excel before exporting.
Use a dot or comma as decimal separator without a currency symbol, so 29.95 or 29,95 and not €29.95.
Check the result screen of the wizard: it shows per row what went wrong. Adjust the file and use Try again.
Tip
Test a large import with a small file of 5 to 10 rows first. If everything looks right, run the full import.
