How variants work
A product can have multiple variants, for example per size or colour. Each variant has its own SKU, optionally its own EAN, price and stock. Options are free-form: besides Size and Colour you can add any custom option (for example Material or Length).
Bulk generating variants
Open the product and go to the variants tab.
Enter your options, for example Size: S, M, L and Colour: Black, White.
Generate combinations: NEXERA automatically creates all combinations (up to 100 at a time) with SKUs based on your prefix, such as JACKET-S-BLACK.
Then complete price, EAN and stock per variant where needed.
Images per variant
You can link the same image to multiple variants. Useful for colours: link the photo of the black version to all sizes of that colour in one go. You do this on the product page under images, or via the colour group in the variant table.
Shopify limits
Shopify limits
Shopify accepts at most 3 options and 100 variants per product. NEXERA can store more, but products above these limits cannot be synced to Shopify. Split such products or reduce the number of variants.
