Nexera is a Product Experience Management (PXM) platform built for modern e-commerce teams. It brings together everything you need to manage product information, digital assets, AI-generated content, and multi-channel distribution into a single workspace.
Whether you are a brand managing thousands of SKUs across multiple Shopify stores, or a growing shop looking to professionalise your product data, Nexera gives you a centralised hub to keep everything accurate, consistent, and ready to publish.
With Nexera you can:
Centralise product data: one source of truth for names, descriptions, pricing, variants, and custom attributes across every language and sales channel.
Manage digital assets: upload, organise, convert, and resize product images with built-in format presets and folder structures.
Generate AI content: create compelling product descriptions, translations, and SEO metadata in seconds using Claude AI with custom brand voice templates.
Sync to Shopify: bidirectional sync keeps Nexera and your Shopify stores in lockstep, with conflict detection and one-click rollback.
Share via Customer Portal: let retail partners and distributors self-serve product images and data through a branded download portal.
Nexera is built and maintained by DEED VISION, a Netherlands-based e-commerce studio that has spent years solving product data challenges for outdoor, fashion, and lifestyle brands.
NEXERA works by invitation: there is no open registration. You receive an invitation on your work email address from us or from your workspace administrator. Signing in is passwordless with a one-time code by email.
No access yet, or trouble signing in? See the article "Signing in and access" in this help center or email [email protected].
Nexera uses a role-based access control system to give each team member the right level of access. You can invite as many people as your plan allows, and each person gets their own passwordless login.
Available roles:
Viewer: read-only access to products, assets, and reports. Ideal for stakeholders who need visibility without the ability to make changes.
Editor: can create, edit, and delete products and assets, run AI generation, and trigger syncs. The primary role for day-to-day content managers.
Admin: full access including team management, billing, store connections, and workspace settings. At least one admin is required per workspace.
Go to Settings → Team: The Team page shows all current members with their roles and last login timestamps.
Click "Invite Member": Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select a role. They will receive a verification email with a link to join your workspace.
Manage existing members: Change roles or remove team members at any time. Role changes take effect immediately. Removing a user revokes their access but preserves all content they created.
Plan limits
The number of team members you can invite depends on your plan. Free allows 1 user, Basic allows 3, Pro allows 25, and Enterprise is unlimited. Check your current usage in Billing → Usage.
Products are the foundation of your Nexera workspace. Each product contains structured data, name, SKU, descriptions, pricing, variants, and custom attributes, that flows through to every connected channel.
Go to Products in the sidebar: The Products page shows all products in your workspace with filters for status, category, and brand. When your workspace is brand new this list will be empty.
Click "New Product": The product creation form opens with required and optional fields. You can also duplicate an existing product or import from CSV if you have data ready.
Fill in name, SKU, and description: The product name and SKU are required. The SKU must be unique within your workspace and is used for matching during imports and asset linking. Add a rich-text description using the built-in editor.
Add multilingual content (NL, DE, EN): Switch between language tabs to add localised titles, descriptions, and SEO metadata. Each language version is stored independently, giving you full control over the content that reaches each market.
Set status to Active: Products start in Draft status. Change the status to Active when the product is ready to be synced to Shopify or made visible in the customer portal. You can also set it to Archived to hide it without deleting.
AI-powered descriptions
Use the AI button next to any description field to auto-generate compelling copy based on your product attributes. The AI considers the product name, category, brand, and any existing content to produce on-brand descriptions you can review and refine before saving.
Nexera's built-in Digital Asset Management (DAM) keeps all your product images organised, optimised, and ready for distribution. Assets are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 with automatic format detection and metadata extraction.
Go to Assets in the sidebar: The Assets page shows a gallery view of all uploaded images with thumbnails, file type badges, and size information. Use folders and tags to keep large asset libraries organised.
Drag and drop images or click Upload: Drop one or more files directly onto the upload zone, or click the Upload button to open a file picker. Nexera accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, and AVIF formats. Maximum file size depends on your plan.
Images auto-link to products by SKU: If the filename contains a product SKU (e.g. "APJ-001-front.jpg"), Nexera automatically links the asset to the matching product. You can also link assets manually from the product detail page.
Use presets to convert formats: Download or export images in any supported format using presets. Create custom presets like "Shopify Thumbnail 200x200" or "Website Hero 1920x1080" that you can reuse across your entire library.
Bulk upload with ZIP
For large batches, upload a ZIP file containing multiple images. Nexera extracts all files and auto-matches them to products by SKU in the filename. This is the fastest way to populate your asset library when onboarding.
Nexera integrates directly with Shopify to keep your product data synchronised across both platforms. The integration uses OAuth for secure authorisation and supports multi-language content via Shopify Markets.
To connect your first Shopify store:
Go to Settings → Stores in the Nexera dashboard.
Click Add Shopify Store and enter your myshopify.com URL.
You will be redirected to Shopify to authorise the Nexera app. Review the requested permissions and click Install.
Back in Nexera, configure the language mapping to connect Nexera languages (NL, DE, EN) to your Shopify markets or translated content.
Run your first sync by clicking Sync Now. Nexera will push all active products to Shopify, creating new listings or updating existing ones matched by SKU.
Bidirectional sync
Nexera supports bidirectional synchronisation, changes made in either Nexera or Shopify are detected and reconciled. When both sides have changed the same field, Nexera flags the conflict for manual review so you always stay in control.
After the initial sync, you can set up scheduled syncs that run automatically on an interval you choose (hourly, daily, or weekly). Delta syncs only transmit changed products, keeping sync times fast even for large catalogues.
The Supplier Portal lets your suppliers submit product data, images, and documents directly into a structured workflow, eliminating the need for email-based data collection. Suppliers log into a branded portal, fill in product information, upload assets, and submit for your review.
Configure the portal: Go to Settings → Suppliers → Portal Configuration. Set your subdomain, branding (logo, colours, welcome message), supported languages, and file upload limits.
Create your first supplier: Navigate to Settings → Suppliers and click "New Supplier". Give the supplier a name, link the relevant brands and categories, and add contact details.
Invite supplier users: From the supplier detail page, click "Invite User". Enter their email and choose a role: Supplier Admin (manages all supplier data) or Contributor (manages own submissions only). They receive an invitation email.
Review and import submissions: When a supplier submits product data, review each item in the submission. Approve, reject, or request changes per item. Once approved, import the data directly into your PIM with automatic brand and category mapping.
Plan availability
The Supplier Portal module is available on the Pro plan and above. See the Supplier Management guide for detailed configuration and the Supplier Portal guide for the supplier-side experience.
